So, if any of you know me, you know I'm not much of a painter. Well, Right now I'm covered in red, yellow, black, and white paint because of this painting I'm working on for my hairdresser. She lets me pay for my hair in art, and this one will be a surprise for her because she's freaking awesome. If I can find a good camera I may put it up, but I doubt it...

I'm going to call it Tempting Knowledge, it features a woman (meant to be the devil but I'm not telling my hairdresser that) holding an apple out in front of her. All around her are trees with apples hanging from it. Now, these apples are only about half an inch all around and I've only completed the one in her hand...and it took me an HOUR AND A HALF to paint ONE FREAKING APPLE!!! I wanted it to look as real as possible, with all the yellows and browns mixed in with the red...and I missed out on a lot of sleep because of it! So, I'm hoping since I got one apple out of the way the others will just fall in line and not take so long to make.

Oh, and she doesn't even have a body. The first thing I did was paint the whole canvas black. Her face and hands are visible and if you look closely at her shoulders in hands you can see the black feathers blending into the background, proving just how lazy I really am. (It looks cool though, so don't judge.)

So yeah........................CHICKENS WILL RULE THIS WORLD!
